Got a dental appointment coming up? Whether you're getting a filling, crown, root canal, or routine cleaning, preparing the day before your dental procedure can help you feel more comfortable and confident.

Here at Fortune Dental Care, we believe that informed patients feel less anxiety and experience smoother procedures. So we’ve answered some of the most common pre-procedure questions—and included a few fun facts along the way!

❓ 1. Can I eat the night before my appointment?

Yes—unless you're being sedated.

For most procedures (like cleanings, fillings, or crown placements), you can eat normally. But if your treatment includes oral or IV sedation, we may ask you to fast for 6–8 hours beforehand. Always follow specific instructions from Dr. Anjum or our clinical team.
